1 ~ It is very important when removing the pacifier or clip that you hold the ribbon and open from the snap by prying. It is possible to tear the snap out of the ribbon if not opened properly. The snaps are very tight, but will loosen with use.
2 ~ The best method for cleaning the clipz is to remove all removable parts as mentioned above, and place in a basket in the dishwasher. You can also place in a laundry bag and run with regular wash. I choose not to do this method because of the detergent and my childrens' sensitivies. Especially when it is something they WILL put in their mouth.
3 ~ It IS possible for the hardware to rust, so the clipz should not remain in water. Dry as much as possible then lay flat on a towel to air dry.
I am open for questions or let me know if you have had one damaged. I will repair if possible at no expense to you. If not able to be repaired, it will be replaced. Older clipz were sewn with a clear thread, those can be replaced, but will have snaps on both ends rather than being sewn.
